The Story Continues
BOH AT HOME is a love letter to our foremothers and all the women who have long tended to these lands for thousands of years. It pays homage to “Umfazi wamabele amade”, who’s stories of sustenance echo in the clan names of the Ndebele and many others. BOH AT HOME also acts as an invitation for its audience, to go deeper in the process of remembering that which grows on these bountiful lands of their foremothers. It urges all of us to treat memory as an abundant energy field, that we can all draw from, one that exists beyond space and time. An energy filled with infinite knowledge of our indigenous knowledge. Let us re(member) our story.
